Comparing the Sidekick II, 3, and iD

May 7th, 2007 · 43 Comments

The Sidekick series continues to be the most popular wireless device within the deaf community. Blog readers, and prospective purchasers have asked the blog editor, Deafpagers.com Sales representatives, and even the Deafpagers.com support department a lot of questions regarding the Sidekick. One of the most common questions asked is: “Which model is better?” The answer is: All Sidekick devices are good purchases. It just depends on what features you need. You should carefully select the right one for your needs. For example, will you heavily use the SK3’s built in camera? Or will you make use of the SK3’s music player? You will also need to decide if you ever will consider using the SK3’s Bluetooth technology? The reason we ask these questions of you is because, some users really do not need to purchase the top of the line Sidekick, which currently is the Sidekick 3.

We have developed a comparison chart (below) for you to make your own comparisons of the different features among the Sidekick line, to help you decide what you really want, and it may help you realize what you really do not need. If you have any questions or find any errors, just leave a comment, and we will respond.
